QM10000 Aerospace Power Rack

QM Systems Power Interface Rack provides a multi-functional power platform with a high power interface mechanism for easy connection to your unit under test

Using an IVI driver this rack can be simply controlled by any existing system or PC as one instrument. Flexible power switching and an extensive safety interlock scheme ensures safety of operator and device under test. Designed to test power switching devices such as those on aircraft or ships, the system is modular and configurable.
Configurations include the following:

• Upto 600V Sourcing and Switching
• Multiplex up to 200 channels
• Internal multiplexing of up to 30A
• High Current multiplexing up to 300A
• Single-ended or differential switching.
• Quick-release built-in UUT-interface panel
• Designed to safety standards EN60204 and EN60950
• Built-in system controller plus industry-standard IVI software drivers.

The system comprises the following major elements:

• High Power Multiplexer
• Mains Power Control Unit
• COTS – based Power Instrumentation and Switching
• Modular UUT Interface Panel

The entire system is 19” rack-mounted and comes with full warranty and support services.

High Current Multiplexer

Designed to meet IEC EN 60950 , this is a modular unit incorporates 8:1 multiplexor modules offering up to 112 channels of 30A switching internally. An external switching module provides for up to 32 channels of 300A contactors for example. This may also be used for other purposes such as fixture control. Control is via RS485 or through front panel operation via keyboard and front panel, 7-segment display.

Mains Control Unit

This isolates and distributes three-phase and single phase supplies. The digital IO control is opto isolated and includes over 20 man and machine safety interlocks including temperature, door status, remote equipment status, bus voltages, ITA and fixture status. An external status control input can be used as a hard shutdown for the power system. The system is designed to meet the machinery directive EN60204.

COTS

A library of supported test equipment is available upon request.

Modular UUT Interface Panel

This is a modular system, mounted in a 4U, rack mounted unit, utilising a common format of socket blocks. This provides a quick-release connection of contacts of up to 300A and up to 5000V each.
